I enjoyed art from a very young age. My first memorable drawing was with my mother's lipstick on her wall! Even so, she always encouraged me to persue art. My career path took me in another direction though and it wasn't until my children were nearly grown and my career was well established that I found my way back to creating art. I am inspired by current and past masters and the beauty that I see all around me. I try to capture a moment of time and place, to preserve a memory, a mood or a thought. My life is now full with a great family, a busy work life and my art. I love to travel, take workshops, visit art museums and galleries and paint en plein air. I have enjoyed painting trips to Provence, France and Scotland. Thanks for taking a look. I hope to bring a little beauty and joy to your day!
